      Small charcoal filter?

I did several searches on this site and could not find where anyone had found an item like this. I have a Rock Valley tank and have run a small braided line from the vent bung at the front top end of my tank to a position above the tank on my frame rail where I attached a small K&N style filter. Because of the vertical distance above the tank I do not believe that I will have any liquid make its way to the filter, but I still have fuel vapors that seem to emit from the back of the car. The tank cap is ventless and there are no leaks from any of the fittings (fuel filter, fuel pump, tank fittings). Does anyone know where I might find a small charcoal canister that would contain these vapors? I thought that some rod supply shop would have a demand for this type of item, but I can't find one.

By the way, we started the motor for the first time this week (we=dtour and my other partners in the shop we will soon open). 638ci with a 2000cfm f.a.s.t and just collector mufflers.

Sorry, can't help with the charcoal filter (other than to suggest a trip to the junkyard). But here's a tip: Lengthen the vent tube and put a 360 degree loop in it. That should do the trick. I use a loop and a K&N breather to get the job done.

We had this conversation on the old board about 6 months ago!! Somebody suggested to get a filter from a pet shop for fish!!

PS This is going to be a killer car! The motor sounds wicked strong! (an its not tuned yet)

If you’re suggesting sending men with weapons of war to take my weapons of war, then I’m fairly certain that’s what’s called an act of war… and the definition of tyranny.which coincidentally is the reason for the second amendment to begin with!
