      will a 10 inch wide wheel work?

      was just wondering if a 10 inch wide wheel would be fine on my gto if i didnt touch my frame

      A friend put them under his '66 Chevelle.Not sure what B.S. he used.

      I put 9.5 from my camaro on the back of my 67 lemans just for looks. It had 1 inch from fender lip to tire buldge on the back and 1 inch from the back buldge to the frame. Just needed a different tire than a 275/40/17.I think some 18 would fill the wheel well nice

      A 17x10,18x10,19x10,or a 20x10 w/5.75" backspacing should fit the car,although it will be snug. If you substitute a 9.5" width instead,I would use 5.5" backspace.
