Thats a pretty cool looking frontend. Do you plan on highlighting it with a stripe or will it just be body color? It might look awesome with just a single stripe over the entire scoop area.

After I get the body roughed in I'm thinking about yankin it off and going through the chassis again.Mabey a tube chassis.I want to polish all of the c-4 suspension and aluminum. The chassis has proven itself on the street so I think I will add a little more heat to the engine too.

Ouch!I hoped that it would'nt remind anyone of that. It's ok though.I'm not sure on the colors yet.I want this to be more go than show.

Well it did'nt get finnished this summer and winter is comming so I'm gonna tear it down and go throught the frame again.I'm thinking about a tube chassis or somethine like this.

I added C-4 suspension to my frame two years ago,but it is a 35 year old frame and I found that it is rusting from the inside out.I don't trust it!I think that I can still knock off a few more Lbs and stiffen things up even more by going this way. Here's what has been done so far.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/828811

I'd love to do a C4 suspension on my '70 vert. Did you install that yourself or was it a prior-owner mod? I'm very interested in how it was constructed and would like to see more pics of the suspension and chassis. Do the air tunnels/vents aid the aerodynamics?

I have done all of the mods myself. If I go with the tube frame I will build it also.(I enjoy fabricating)The tunnels can help with channeling air and down force if they are done rite.Although we try to keep it to a minimum, air must still pass under our vehicles at the same speed as over the top and the belly of most cars have the aerodynamics of a model T.Is this a nessassary thing to do?Probably not but it will make a differance on top.Maybey not alot but it might just be the thing to get that little bit to be a buddy beater.
