      Hotchkis Customer Service Rocks

I know we all hear about poor customer service, so when something good happens, I think we ought to share that as well. About a year and a half ago, I bought a rear leaf spring kit for my '69, and I just finally got around to installing it on the car, turns out I was missing one of the nuts for the supplied u-bolts. Now I don't know if it was always missing, or if it got lost, but I called Hotchkis, and they shipped one out to me, no charge, not even shipping. I think it's pretty cool when someone does what it takes to make things right, even when it's just a little thing like a replacement nut.

I e-mailed them with some handling questions for my ext cab truck and they were quick with their response and very informative.

I had a similar experience with Auto-Meter. I bought some of their gauges from Summit, but they were short one of the little green light-bulb covers ("condoms" as the Auto-Meter rep called them). I called Auto-Meter and they got me a bag of them in two days. Makes me happy.
