      Ram Jet fuel pump

Installing a Ram Jet 350, The "fuel pump signal" wire that is in the engine harness goes to the pump, or to a ignition hot source?

      Thanks
      Steve

      Hi Steve,

It definitely does NOT go to a ignition source. I need to look at mine again to remind myself how it is wired. Seems like there were two wires for the fuel pump. One is the hot wire and the other is the ground. If I am correct, the signal goes to the ground side of the pump. The computer then provides the ground to operate the pump. I'll check again and repost what I find.

      Not to a F/P relay?

On my 502 RamJet, there were two wires for the fuel pump which I connected directly to the pump. There are several relays as part of the electrical system - again this is on a 502 RamJet, so YMMV.
