Just wanted to welcome you here and say, that when I was just 20 yrs old, I met a girl, and later lived with ,and she owned a new 70 Ford Maverick.. I just bought a new 70 chevelle ss,so intially I wasnt impressed with that Ford.. Three years later, with gas shortages and insurance skyrocketing, I unfortunately sold the chevelle. Now the point.. I started to immagine just how wild it would be to remake that Maverick into what is now your quest.. I will be following this new trend with the Mavericks platform with great interest.. PS>> I still own a 70 chevelle, but not an original, but love it all the same.. Good luck, and welcome....phil

Cometchick on this board has a pro-toured 73 Comet GT, but no big block!

The 69 is more my style. Very nice. Cool collection you have.
      Welcome!

Welcome aboard, I was wondering how you juggled the projects, but I can understand the frustration at points.

I just picked up a 95 z28 camaro LT1 T56 6 speed and 373 posi rear end with over $10,000 into the drive train alone and only 100 miles since everything was rebuilt the kid i got it from hit a parked car it is still drivable...got it for 3 grand... i was thinking of putting it into my firebird but the only thing stopping me is that the bird is a numbers matching car any suggestions i could just repair it and drive it or find another 68 camaro to swap in into HYM that would be more to the list of projects...????
