      Engine start-up recommendations

The running 350 that I pulled from my 69 back in Nov of 2004 is about to be fired up again. I have squirted oil in the cylinders and turned over by hand a couple of times over the last 20 months. I just want to make sure the startup goes smoothly so any advice is appreciated. I do plan on pulling the dist and priming the oil pump thoroughly before starting. Thanks in advance

Along with priming, pull the distributor apart and make sure nothing has corroded. Also, pull the carburetor apart and give it a good cleaning.
