      narrowed control arms?

I have a 68 Camaro and my tires are right on the ragged edge and I would like to move them inboard may 1/4"; just wondering if I bought narrowed upper and lower control arms if this would accomplish moving the wheels inboard slightly.

It would but I`m not aware of anyone making arms that are specifically 1/4" shorter although our adj. tubular uppers can easily be set that way. What are you running for static camber? You may be able to get the 1/4" you want by just dialing in more - camber. BTW what brake setup are you running? Many of them increase the track width. That may be part of the problem too. Mark SC&C

depending on the depth of the caliper clearance pad on the wheels, you may be able to take them to a machine shop and remove a 1/4"
