      Bodycart Info!!!!

I'm looking into making a simple but mobile bodycart for my Malibu when I take it off the frame. Interested in seeing who made one and what you made it out of and some measurements. Would like to make it collapsible and adjustable for various body shells. Can you guys please show me some pics of ones you've made or are using. Prefer not to buy one since this will allow me to practice my welding skills while building it. THANKS!!!
      Joe

Come on, you mean to tell me all these people with cars and not one of you has any info on a bodycart. I guess I'll just have to figure this out on my own. Oh well.

      Did you search? https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ight=body+cart

Are you sure you want to practice welding on something that will support a 2,000lb (whatever) car body that you'll be crawling under?

Here is the one I made out of 2x2 steel

It was built to be collapsible. If you do what Matt says and search for 'Body Cart', you will get a TON of hits.

      EIDT: Oh yeah. BE CAREFUL!

Doh, I didn't even think to search the forums, how dumb of me.

      Matt
I am going to attempt to do it myself but I am also going to have my teacher check the welds before I attempt to put a body on it to make sure it is fabricated correctly. I don't need it collapsing.
