      Basic spring relocation question

I bought my car, 71 ventura rolling. It certainly has mini tubs installed. I was always under the impression the springs were moved.

When the springs ARE moved is the rear of the spring the only end that is moved? Does the front use the OEM mounting point?

      Thanks-
      john

The rear mounts are relocated. The fronts are not . The spring perches on the rearend have to be moved and rewelded at a different angle also. Call David at Road Killer Kustoms. He has done this several times.

The front mounts stay the same. Some press the spring bushings out 1/2" , to move the front of the spring inward, but mine fit O.K. by just loosening up the front mounts so they like up with the rears, then retighten.

Now after looking at it I see, I also see that I'll need a new tank and that is prob why it wasn't done before.

I'll do it all over the winter with poly bushings.

      Thanks-
