      GM Performance Valve Covers

I am making a valve cover uprgrade, using the cast aluminum GM performance valve covers. I would like some info on how these valve covers get fastened. Studs do not seem to work on the three top holes on the intake side. I can not get a nut on the stud. Any thoughts? Someone with a 572 crate engine tell me what GM used. thanks

You can use the appropriate GMPP bolt package for those covers. I had the same issue, the ARP studs were too short on one side of each cover. I can't recall the part number but they are easy to find once you ask them.

Canton has some nice stuff in the valve cover department. Worth checking out, they have a real Pro touch to them and look the part of a much more expensive high dollar fabbed cover.
