      made me cry....

Well I found the tire I want to run on the Charger... I was looking for an tire that fit an 18" wheel with a width of 335-355... and I wanted it approx 28" tall...

the only thing remotely close was this tire... 345/35/19...

I was really depressed when they said $690 each...

      any other recomendations ?

I'm hoping to go with a 275 tire in front on a 17" wheel and a wide tire (335-355 on a 18" wheel)

If you go to www.tirerack.com (there is a link on the right side) you will find plenty of tire's in the size you want (335/30/18).

      Michelin makes a 345/35/18. It's around 27.5" tall.

More manufacturers (or at least one) need to make a 335/35/18 (preferably in r-compound). I'm convinced that is the ideal tire size for many a mini-tubbed PT car.

Last Dec at PRI I talked with Nitto, Avon, Khumo, Goodyear, BFG, MT, etc- no one even sounded close to a taller (re:35/40 series) tire, as there aren't any OEM apps for it. The closest are some of the M&H and MT tires, but they're 'straightline' DRs. We don't need 25/30 series rubber for the ultimate in handling- many road-racing setups run a higher profile with a stiff sidewall.

I agree- If they made a run of 1000-2000 335/40/17's (and larger), they'd sell 'em out. The 1st gen just doesn't look right with anything smaller than 26", and that's pushing it.

      Someone help us out!!!

Took me 6 months of searching ebay and racingjunk to find a pair of 345/35-18 Pilots.

Michelin make a 345/30-18 Pilot Sport Cup.

yes... I think the Charger's lines call for a 28" tall tire in the rear... anything under that and it does not look right....
