I am new to the site. I just picked up a 67 firebird. I am planning on saving up for an Art Morrison chassis to get my project started. I was planning on a LS1 T56 drive train, but by the time I am ready for that I may change my mind.

Welcome! I'll cringe in silence about the LS1 swap. I'm not a numbers matching guy, but I am a purist. To each their own though.

So what are you planning for the suspension?

It's a Pontiac, how fast can it be?

Well the Art Morrison chassis comes with strange engineering coilovers. I am going to get the LS1 out of a firebird.

      Thanks for the welcome guys.

Well, since you're getting the LS1 out of a Firebird, I guess in a round about way it fits. What does the car have in it now?

Does AM make a sub-frame setup for unibody cars like the f-body? If so I'm going to have to look into that. You may also want to check out the suspension goodys over at Global West Suspensions for the 1st gen f-body (http://tinyurl.com/jdbk).
