      15" tires

I am having trouble finding good rubber for 15" dia rims. Does anyone have any recamendations. I know the current trend is to go with bigger rims and lower profile tires but it just would not fit the style or theme I am going for. I would also like to run the same tread design fron and back 15/8 15/10

You should have tons of choices. BFG is what I ran on my AC Cobra with 15" wheels. I had 305's on the back and 255's up front. Let us know what profile and size your looking for and maybe we can help out a little more.

I would like around a 27" tall tire 28" at the most. I have 295/50-15 all around right now and would like a similar profile. I had to go to a smaller 8" wide rim in the front in order to get the ride hight I wanted so I think I need about a 245 255/60 for the front I think.

BFG does make their radial T/A's which is the look im assuming you are going for. they do have a better selection and people have trusted them for years. check other mfg's as well most dont have the raised white letters but may have the sizes you are looking for. if you want to get exact size and dementions check out tire racks website.

check out tirerack.com. put the size tire in that you are lookin for and it'll pop up all thats available through tirerack. I've bought tires from them several times, great prices and fast shipping. As a matter of fact, Until I can afford my new rims and tires, I think I'm gonna be pickin up 2 more 245/60 15 bf goodrich radial t/a's to put up front so I can have the same size tire all the way around.

I've been running the BFG radial T/A's in 235/70 and 275/60 on my truck in summer and winter for over 5 years without any problems.

      Thanks

I have been to the tire rack. I have a similar tire to the bfg right now. I wash hoping to find a more modern tread pattern or something with a bit softer compound. My vehicle is not a daily driver and does not see a lot of wet weather driving. I plan on doing track days when the vehicle is done and would loke something that will hold up to that kind of abuse.
