      Factory front sub reinforcement?

So I'm sure many of you guys know you have to cut a pretty significant notch in the factory front subframe of a second gen to install air ride's shockwaves. I was just curious if you guys think it's a good idea to reinforce the frame in any way to make up for the removed metal. I've already got GW subframe connectors and alston racing firewall braces (as close to a strut tower brace as you can get on a second gen) on the way. I was kinda contemplating creating something like the crossbars on the ring brothers' kona or maybe just welding on some reinforcement plates in strategic places. Any advice?
