      Art Morrison's Corvette

OK- So there has been a lot of 'Stang talk for cars debuting at SEMA and just thought I'd post a pic of at least one teazer pic of a GM product that will be there too (on display in the K&N booth). The 60 features our chassis, Mitchell 427" all aluminum SBC, FAST, 14" Wilwood, Michelin PSC's.

      Hi Craig,

It was nice talking to you at the GGC show. Thanks for the kind words.

Is this the 3-G vette??? The one that is supposed to be in the Hot Rod "Open Track Smackdown" event???

I don't know if they will be able to wire that deal together this year. It is a shame. We were looking forward to kicking some Vette butt. :-)

I know. Maybe we should schedule the track event in conjunction with SEMA. Make it an open invatation to the show cars at SEMA and see who has the balls to come out and play.

      Anyway, I digress...

Great looking car. I can't wait to see it at SEMA. What is the ground clearance on that??? Looks to be about 2".

SN65- It was great talking with you as well. Yes was the car that was going to be at the "open track smackdown" that there is no location or date for. With all the work we have done to the body and trim/bumpers we've been pushed back about 5-6 months on completion. Was supposed to be at Columbus, but from the looks of it a lot of people missed Columbus this year.......

Looking forward to seeing you guys again.

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Is the Vette a kit car or an actual modified 1st gen Vette?

Hey guys thanks for the comments- Bob- I'm looking forward to you seeing the finished car at SEMA.

Yes it is a stock 60 body. We bought the car as a driver about 6 years ago. New front clip and lots of repairs and modifications later and we might as well have started with an aftermarket body.

The car goes into primer on Friday..... Engine goes to dyno on the 29th to work out the program for the fuel injection.

OH man, I was lucky enough to see it in person when I was out in the big town of Fife in March. Craig, if you get time and will, post a picture or two of the headlights. No one would understand a post about them but a picture is worth a thousand words. Then again, maybe you are just holding out until SEMA to show them. In that case, I should have just stirred the hype pot quite a bit....lol.
That is just a beautiful piece all the way around and sooooooo many details that Art pulled off, just hard to describe. I will be at SEMA with my camera in hand. Too bad yall can not bring it to the event here.

SN65, yall need to be here too.

Sick is right. I love it. Keep as much trim as you can on the car. I am with Bob, they look so good with all the chrome.

Bill- This one is for you! So can anybody guess what the headlights are out of? When I ordered them and the sales guy on the phone asked "What year is your XXXXXXX?" There was a very long pause when I told him a 1960 Corvette.

No more pics untill you guys see the cover pulled off at SEMA on Tuesday.
