      How much to narrow???

I'm getting ready to purchase a 9" ford rearend for my 69 Camaro.
How much should I have it narrowed over the stock 60" 10 bolt.
The car has mini-tubs and offset shackles, no wheels picked out yet but will be 18x10???

You need to determine what backspacings are available in your wheel choice, chose one, and then establish clearances with your selected tires and those wheels. I never cut anything until I have the intended tires AND wheels on hand and mounted. To much money and time involved to just randomly guess at this stuff...

So is it easier (or cheeper) to order the length of the rear end or the backspacing on the rims? What is the more common backspacing that you would want to shoot for? (or should we post this in the wheels and tires forum?)

Keith, we sell a lot of Mosers and do a lot of mini tubs. You can call me and go over backspacing and rear dimensions, and save some $$$$
