3 Point belts in a wagon?
I need to figure out a way to get 3 point belts in the rear area of my 72 chevelle wagon . I have 2 kids and i need to secure there car seats . Any help would be great

07-14-2006 #2You might want to consider fabricating (or pirating from a late model wreck) anchor points into the car like new vehicles have. One over the rear of the seat on the floorboard, and one for each lower seatbelt mount. I don't know how old the car seats are, but the new ones come with the webbing and three anchor hooks already attached.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

3- point seatbelts
Check the article in Super Chevy this month. They said there are mounts in the rear of a 68. Our seatbelts fit that car. Look under the head liner behind the rear seat, if GM put them in a 68 it is a good possibility that they are in your car too.
