      Woodward hotel recomendation?

Looks like I need to be there to get a project from a board member. Where should I stay?

      What's your per night target?

I'd be happy to meet up with you. I'm in the area.

      Frank -

You can try several places, but I would recommend the Troy area, there is a Courtyard around 15 mile & I-75 that will put you within striking distance of Woodward, but just far enough away from the congestion.

I'm local too, if you have trouble drop a line, you don't want to wait too long!

Tony, I would like a nice place. Hiltons are nice because I get rewards. I will be looking to hook up with members, but I'll probably have Howell tagging along with me, so I appoligize in advance.

      Frank,

The cruise basically runs from Pontiac to Royal Oak along Woodward (1). I'd pick either Troy (nicer) or Southfield (less nicer). Troy puts you just East of the action. Southfield puts you West. I work in Southfield, it's got a few high rise buildings and little personality. There is a Hilton in Auburn Hills and Troy. Avoid staying by the airport as it's about 45 minutes from the cruise. Plan to be where you need way ahead. Locals start a week early!! They don't call it the Worlds Biggest Redneck Parking Lot for nothing!

      Don't worry about Powell. He's a funguy.

BTW, Pontiac is less nice than Southfield. Royal Oak itself has a great night scene, but you're probably already too late. Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield has some nice stuff, and you'll be within 25 minutes of the action.

Frank...I'll 2nd what Jason said. Do the Hilton in Troy, Michigan. You'll be right near the action and Troy is a nice city.

      Here's some info for you.

      Hilton Hotel
      5500 Crooks Road
      Troy, MI 48098-2806
      (248)879-2100

They have rooms available right now. $109 a night. Better jump on it. Don't worry about Howell...I gotta cage we can stick him in if he gets unruley.

I'll give Bill a call about a week before the event so I can find out when you're heading out. Try to get out here on Thursday. We can grab a bite to eat on Woodward that night and check out the car scene. It'll be hoppin' by then.

Tony, I may need a helper or two when I get there depending on weather Michael comes or not. The car I am picking up is disassembled. Front clip off, convertible frame out, interior out. I need to consolidate it into one package a trucking company can haul to Florida. Just kind of get the stuff on the car temporay. So I may need some muscle for a few hours.

I will follow up on the Hilton
