Personally.. I don't mind seeing welds if they are done nice. I have some parts welded by Matt and they absolutly bitchen to look at. Same with the welds on my 21st Century Subframe.

Welds can be art or look like crud.. depends on the welder

If GM offers any "Z" days this year, I'll definitely be down for this one. Sounds like a great time.

I hope my earlier post about the DS&E subframe didn't come off as pessimistic...because that was not the intent. I have just always been curious if all that extra money was really worth it in the end. Who knows.....maybe it is?

We'll find out. Fuel has a DSE quadra-link out back with the following suspension parts up front: Koni coil-overs, DSE Speed Kit 3: tubular upper and lower control arms, coilover conversion, DSE 600 steering gear, DSE tie rod adjusters, Hotchkis front sway bar.

The DSE test car has a quadra-link out back and the new subframe up front. Fuel has added chassis stiffness thanks to a roll cage.

Then you have SW's car: Same front suspension as Fuel with leaf springs out back and no roll cage.

So you need a little push to come to Pigeon Forge?
So you are wondering, hey is this just hype, or do they really have a list of who's coming even before the registration shows up.
So you are wondering, who would go there just to play with their cars.

OK, just so everyone knows this is not a bs show and we really are fixing to have a protouring shoot out of our very own. Just so you know there are folks who will put their car on the start line and play hard.
Just so you know, you NEED to be here, here is a list of a few of my buds that are already booked and will be here.
There are a few surprises coming in the next few days, but for now, maybe this list will wet your whistles.

      1. Bob Johnson's SMOTY Cuda
      2. DSE's test mule, the blue 69 with all the DSE goodies
      3. SW (Streetking) with two of his cars
      4. Bret@AirRide with two of his autocross cars
      5. Jason and Fuel
      6. Prodigy with two so far un named cars
      7. Mr. optima battery, Cam Douglass and his new Z06
      8. Jeff (J2speed) and his camaro
      9. Steevo and street fighter
      10. David Sloan and G-spot
      11. My junk

I think it would be in the best interest for PHR to be at this event with camera and note pad in hand this would make a great story.
