      I'm getting closer...........

I've been away a lot lately guys and haven't had time to work on the car or play on the computer. Also, it's not half as nice as most of the cars on this site so I was a little shy about posting pics. I still have the head lamps and some interior pieces that have to go on but, other than that I'm driving it down the road. I am still trying to figure out what wheels I will be running. The TTII's will not be the final choice. Hope you guys like it.

Oh, your right, it just does not fit in here, you should just sell it to me now...

Seriously, I like it. Converts always twist my zizwheel anyway. The TTII's are ok too. If I were you, I would stick in the headlights and enjoy it for a while. Great color.

Beautiful vert, you've done a really good job. I think the TTII's look great on there.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's nice to hear. When you've worked on a car this long, you hope that it will be appreciated by others. Bill, I am leaving the TTII's on for now (it could take me another 2 years to pick out wheels) just to get it on the road so I can enjoy it a little. I want to put some type of soft lip on the car but I just can't pull the trigger. And BTW, your comment made my day. Thanks guys!

That is the best looking covertible Mustang I have seen. The silver paint and black top look great together. I personally like the TTII's on your car. I know they are played out but they will always be the classic choice. Not to be biased but some black center wheels would look awesome with the silver paint and black top.

Can you detail your engine specs for me? I am about to start building a 427W stroker for my coupe and I would be perfectly content with 11's NA and 10's on a small shot like yours.

Yeah, I saw your wheels and thought the same thing. I think the black centers would look good but, what wheel???? That's the million dollar question for me. The motor is a 408 windsor, aluminum heads, 11.1 comp and a pretty big roller cam. Shoot me an email and I can get more specific if you need. My final compression ratio is a little higher than I wanted so I'm on a real soft tune for pump gas. The motor will run high 10's low 11's with the good stuff and more timing. Love your car btw and thanks for the compliment.

Looks great and the black wheel idea is a great one and you might not even need to get new wheels, just paint the centers of the ones you have. Maybe someone here can photoshop it for you to see. Either way it looks great!!!! Good job

Thanks a lot guys. i am proud of the car. I just hate the TTII's on it. I have to get something else on there I just don't know what. I'll post up some interior pictures later. The car is coming together nicely. I just have a few small detail pieces that I need to work on.

Paint the centers, then they don't look so played out,

and for the record, I have a set too, not going on the car but I still like them!

DJ, what a fine ride. The wheels are great, painted centers would be cool too. TTIIs are probably as popular as the Corvette Rally...Why?? because they look so friggin good. I think TTs came stock on 69 Camaros... lol. Yeah some folks say they are old school, but I like them.... On anything. Oh, and don't be shy about showing off that car.
