      electric dry sump

Hi all, have you guys seen that new electric power steering system thats out there? I was wondering, would that pump be enough to run it for a dry sump system? I really don't know what the requirements are for a dry sump pump as far as pressure/volume. You could maybe even run it in the trunk...?

Personally, I wouldn't even think about doing that. My reasoning is that if you lose your power steering pump, you can still steer....if you lose your dry sump pump, the motor is gone.

      ...

That is true matt, but what are the odds of the dy sump pump not working due to a say a broken belt versus the electric pump failing? On a side note, is it even possible to install a dry sump and still keep all accesories?
