      MSD help!

I have a firewall plug with my msd box and coil inside under the dash. The problem I have is a higher rpms I get a whine though the speakers. Even with the radio off. I assumed this was going to happen, but not this bad. I there anything I can do to stop this. It does not happen all of the time either. It is usually about 10 minutes into a drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Nothing more annoying than a radio that just plays that group "RFI and the buzztones". Try moving your MSD's ground location around and make sure its separated from other grounds. If that doesn't help try a capaciter in the B+ circuit.

      Thanks

I will try it. The ground is on the firewall. I will look for another spot.

MSD recommends to ground the box to the battery. MSD also has a forum that their tech support responds to pretty well.
