Well...lets just say its a "two tone" lol.. Long story short, the paint store and I got in an argument and I took thier word, and now the paint doesnt match! So all that work I've done was a waste cuz now I gotta repaint half the car!! GOOD TIMES! LOL!

      Later,
      Gary

Alan & crew and I will be there with the Cuda. We've got our fingers crossed. I've been in the final 5 several times. Hope this is my year. I can't top this car, so if it doesn't win, I need to find something else to do.

      I'll second that.
One thing I like about racing over car shows, is that whenever you go out and flog everybody's asses, the contest is done. No judges to decide and all the other political BS.

shoulda, woulda, coulda, we know how that works. I would feel a lot more comfortable if Popular Hot Rodding was overseeing Street Machine of the Year like in the past. I don't know who is going to be spearheading it this year. Hope it's not Year One...lol..don't think so since Bud's black Mustang they built will be in the running. maybe even the Roadrunner Convt. or another car or two they built. Alan will be devasted if it doesn't win. he's put his heart and soul into this car. Losing at SEMA and Year One didn't sit too well with him. Guys that really know cars, know whats gone into this build. Thats why I knew if I got in the Year One Bash Foose 100, he would pick it. I still don't understand why Year One didn't want it to be in the show. I just had to get some relief from the debacle at the Year One Experience. Hopefully Columbus will be the closure Alan and I want and need.

I'll be there. I should be the only Frost Green Camaro in the parking lot. I'm looking forward to meeting some people from here.

I'll be there. Not taking a car of my own. Going with a black '68 Camaro with a procharger.

Wish we were there as well.. :(

What do you mean: "I still don't understand why Year One didn't want it to be in the show."

They didn't want it at the GG event or the Year One event???

Wayne and I will be there.

But, we are having trouble with the tow truck. AGAIN... :-(

So, unless we come up with an alternative, it looks like we will be driving the SN65 the whole way.

Only about 400 miles. Baring traffic, we should be able to cover that distance in about 3.5 hours... :-)

      Hi Bob,

I am sure that you will do well at this show. You have a fantastic car and, if I were a betting man, I would bet the house that it walks away with SMOTY.

But then again, that, and $1.85 will get you the flavor of the day at Starbucks.

As I see it, the only issue you may have (in this competition) is that your car is so very "exteme". The more extreme a car becomes, the less appealing it is to the main stream audiance. Also, you start appealing to a more and more specific segment of the hobby.

On one hand, our car does very well at Ford specific shows. On the other, we do not do well at the local "Steak and Shake" cruise night.

I wish you (and your car) the best and look forward to seeing you there.
