      New Guy saying Hi..

Hello everyone, I've visitied the site quite a few times and just registered. Here are a few pics of my 86 Monte Carlo SS. I just finished installing the new suspension and tires and once this rain clears up I'll give it a good road test. I've got a few more plans for it in the near future so I'm looking forward to getting as much information from you veterans as I can.
I just installed a C5 corvette brake setup in the front using Pole Position upper a arms, Spohn tubular lower a arms and QA1 shocks,
Baer rear discs, Spohn upper and lower control arms with QA1 shocks and Pirelli 275/40-17 rear tires and Pirelli 245/45-17 front tires on ZO6 wheels.

The spindles are Corvette pieces, the steering arms are custom made. The whole kit is put together and sold by SC&C.

      Hey John,welcome aboard!

Theres actually quite a bit more to the G-5 package ( http://www.scandc.com/g5.htm ) than just bolting C5 knuckles on with our CNC steering arms but I`ll take that as a Cliff`s notes version. ;) Mark SC&C

I'm always up for a meet John! Depending on the day, I may be able to lend my services for trans removal/installation. It would be fair, since I got the 355 in my car with Maniac's hoist and assistance!
