      I hope you are still employed, if not just remember;

      Hey guys!
      Thank you for thinking about me. I am still employed at AM General and working 7 days. Still driving 140 miles a day and burned out as ever...
      I have had no time to work on anything out in the shop for the last year and a half. I am making money though and stock piling parts for the time when things slow down a bit here.
      I am very thankful I got out of GM back in '04 when the getting was good. The job situation in Michigan has gone right down the pooper and I don't see it recovering for quite a while.
      Thanks again!

      Should I resurrect this thread? I actually got some work done on the van last week...
      Work has slowed down enough that I am on 40's now and have some weekend time to work in the shop. Last Monday I got the rear rails cut out and trimmed the kick-ups I am using for axle clearance. The plan is to get both rear rails tacked together this weekend and start fitting up the front spring hangers.
      If there is ANY interest al all please chime in and I will post some pics...

      x2... chime, chime.

      Would like to see pics.

      I still regret not grabbing my dad-in-law's old Astro work van. Commercial w/ no windows, rebuilt 4.3 w/ a rebuilt T-5! Poop.

      Thanks guys, I am glad to see the interest is still there! I will get some pics tonight.
      HeY Ron, how's the family? Are you still lovin' the Michigan weather?
      It is good to be back posting a bit. AM general has kept my nose to the grindstone these past few years. I worked 100 days straight right thru the summer. Let me tell ya I won't do that again. My behind was draggin'.

      Hi Mark,

      Yes I still love Michigan! I love where we live and my work shop. I'm glad to see you posting again. I'll keep my eyes open for new posts. Lets try to get together this spring.

      That's a possibility... Although I have planned on attending since the inaugural dinner in '05... I showed up at that one, 3 hours early and didn't stick around... The last few I have just been to busy or didn't want to do the drive again... Working in Livonia is a 1 1/2 hour drive for me every day, one way. Getting psyhc'd up to drive back to Detroit is tuff, especially if the weather is bad.
