      overheating with siamese cylinder?

I eventually want to build a dream engine. Just want some info. Siamese engine blocks don't have water passages between the cylinders to make them stronger. Does this mean they are more likely to over heat? Like are these just for drag racing with little warm up and a quick run and long cool off time. Or are these style of blocks good for Road racing punishment and long waits at stoplights as well? I feel that they are ok but just want to be sure.

Most aftermarket blocks have more coolant capacity due to having scalloped exteriors. Many Dart blocks are used ind road racing, circle track, boats, etc. without cooling issues.
