      Roadtrip!

We couldn't let all you east coast guys have all the fun..........Well, we just completed our "unofficial" NW leg of Street Rodder's "Road Tour" traveling down to the LA Roadster's Father's Day Show. What a kick! Cool shops, great scenery, amazing roads and some really good laughs along the way. Around 2500+ miles total driving. No major break downs (everything was able to be fixed). What a great time! Enjoy the pics.

Looks like you've got the East Coast Power Tour beat in terms of roads and scenery. Lemme know if you have an open seat for your next coastal run. Thanks for the pix.

We'll definitely let you know! It would be killer to have you come along, although I'm sure you would be crushed if you couldn't be driving your car. One of the roads (Hwy 1 from Leggett CA out to the coast) was 24 miles long and there wasn't 1/4 mile without a corner. Some were 100 degree plus turns posted at 10mph! No traffic.....it was a thing of beauty.

Wow the history of all the old iron, more Halibrands than I've ever seen on the web, and the beauty of the United States of America! Thanks for the pictures.

Larry- I wish I would've known that before hand, it would've been cool to hook up with you and have a few frosty ones. I was thinking about posting info up here, but with this being my first organized trip like this, I was pretty glad that it was small and manageable. 7 cars was great. Vintage Air did the other leg out from Texas, and they had 60 do the drive, which would be a little overwhelming to manage and herd down the road from stop to stop.

I am glad you guys enjoyed the pics. We'll keep you posted on the next trip!

      Criag,

How was HWY 20? I bet your arms got a work out on that
stretch of road huh?lol. My uncle used to own HWY 20 feed
and supply in 2000-2002. I moved him there and we drove
that road a good month or so. Awesome drive and views
some of the "hairpin" turns are a little much at times, great
for a smaller car..not a huge u-haul it with bad brakes!

Did you stop at the burger stand "Jenny burgers"? One of the
best burger joints in bragg,if my wife was not so un-coastal
i would have moved there,i loved the small town, very kick
back area, some really great seafood around locally there.I
think the weather is what sold me the most.

Looks like you guys had a blast!

      Great pics!

Craig - Excellent pic's, beautiful cars and the view, that would of made the trip for me. I have been to the NW several times and I have to say that it is by far my most favorite part of the ole US of A! I have to bring my dad out to this gathering next year! Thanks again.
      Later - Craig
