just got back from the dinner with the Year One Guys, Overhaulin Guys and Foose and his lovely wife. Great meal, good company and a good time was had by all..(it wasn't the same without Howell, shoulda taken him instead of my wife..offered to take him but he had to get back to Dollyland)..Everyone there was asking where he was..(like Shi* they were) Bud, The producer of Overhaulin came over and said he wanted to do a story on F'N Bob. I said only if I can have my bud Howell costar. I'm suckin up to ol Bill so's when he's a big Internet Tycoon he will remember me. he's got the **** part down pat, he's just got to work on the ty..

Here is proof Chip did look at the wreck. Be sure and note that the water in his hand is the water I gave him though.lol
Bob is right, some people kill me bothering celebs about pictures and autographs. I swear the two young girls were there every five minutes with more parts to have signed. I saw the father actually take the hub caps off the car to get them signed.

I want you to look at the card that's in my hatband. You'd think that hillybill Howell could at least get it centered. When I got home I had so many of those musclerides.com business cards in my pocket, car seats, hat, etc it was a joke. I would gripe but they came in handy when I had to take a dump at Year One and they were out of paper..lol You can see the hub cap the girl is holding behind Foose. Her daddy needed a good ol southern as* whuppin..

LOL Bob, why do you think I posted that particular picture? I was wondering if anyone would catch that, and now you go and blow it...

      Here was Bob's stiffest competition.

That ISCA mentality is just a little off my wave length..That white glove on the top of your muffler checking for dirt is annoying to me. What they look for in a car and what I want is at the opposite ends of the spectrum. Last time Alan went there was in 97 or 98. He won best paint, interior, and several other awards. Butr he lost the Ridler to a glass highboy that sold last year at Barrett Jackson. It brought in the 60's and was as nice as when it won the Ridler. The reason one of the judges told Alan his car didn't win was that the 33 was not driveable. Alan said what do you mean? The guy said it didn't have a dipstick. Alan said..how many 4 speed cars have you ever seen with a dipstick? Talk about dip sticks&%$#@ The 33 Alan built has sold twice for way more than twice the figure the Revolver sold for at Barrett, and the 33 sold both times privately..

Oh I didn't mean to bring it to compete for the Ridler. That's a lost cause. If it's not some high boy or a roadster, those idiots don't even consider it. I've always been of the opinion that it's time to put those old judges out to pasture and builders like Foose, Trepanier, and a host of other big wigs in the industry should be calling the shots. I was just hoping you'd bring it up to show off anyway....show 'em what a REAL hot rod is supposed to look like.

      Same question.

How much ground clearance you got? I am guessing 3.5 to 4 inches.

Hey! Don't forget me, you will still need a limo driver to haul your fat ass's around when you are TV stars in "Bubbaland"!

Well... Not to start a flame war or anything, but...

I actually have 4" of ground clearance up front. Woo Hoo!!! There you go. I win. Everybody knows that ground clearance is the MAJOR deciding factor at ALL car shows. :-)

I am actually surprised that you have that much clearance up front. The Cuda looks like it is only a nat's A$$ away from major chassis damage. :-)

OBTW, congrats again on the Boyd thing. I would have loved to be a fly on the wall as that went down. Must have been a pretty interesting conversation.
