      C5 supension locator

      Other than eBay, is there a good place to score C5 suspension parts that anyone could recomend?

      Could try salvage yards.. problem is that you want to make sure the parts weren't bent in whatever unfortunate accident led the car there.

      I got all mine new. You can try www.GMpartsdirect.com or www.smcperformance.com .. The guy in the second link is Shaun Carter and he has good prices on GM parts.

      There's another GM salvage yard someone here mentioned but I can't dig up the link.. maybe someone will post it up.

      I've had good dealings with Ikerd's in Bedford, Indiana. They sell some stuff on Ebay from time to time. I Just recently bought some pieces from them off Ebay. Good prices, nice to work with, quick shipping. Only reservation I had was that the packaging wasn't that great. The box was a bit flimsy.

      GM sports salvage in San Jose has buttloads of C-5 front end parts. Don't know what their pricing is like, but I know they charge a pretty penny for LSx stuff. I can look into it if you like, but as Steven said, one must aware that the stuff might not be straight, and unless its SUPER-SCREWED it's pretty tough to tell when looking at just an a-arm.

      If you just want suspension part buy them through the dealer.

      Those were my price When i built my C6-57 pick up. The junk yards wanted more
