      Gate Shifter Plate?

      Anyone ever make a custom Gate shifter plate like they use in the Ferraris or some porsches?? I think it is a much different look. Anyone ever gave it any thought? Pros? Cons?

      I've thought about it, and may even try it someday, but my experience just playing around with the shifter in a ferrari once was that the gate does not promote rapid shifting at all. If I were to fabricate one, it's probably just have short little teeth
