      Poly bushing removal

Whats the best way to get the bushing shells out of my UCAs? I am installing GW delalums, and need to get the polys out.

If you don't care about destroying them, you should be able to simply push the poly bushing out of the shell, then you can collapse the shell with a hammer and chisel and push those out too. If you want to remove them in reuseable shape, have them pushed out in the same manner as a new rubber bushing using a shop press, ball joint press or similar tool.

I guess it's time to break out the mighty sawzall again.

Yes the sawzall is a wonderful tool, but be careful as you dont want to damage the seating surface on the control arm. I have found that the bushings come out fairly easy with a ball joint press and do not cause any damage.
