      Finding Good Insurance?

I've got to get some insurance on the Camaro soon. Who are you guys going with that seem to be a good company? I know I'll have to get it appraised. Any suggestions would be great! Anyone from Iowa that knows a good appraiser that knows their stuff about these types of cars? Thanks guys. Trond.

I use Continental Western Insurance Co.

For up to 25'000 you dont need an appraisal at all. You get a bit of insurance for parts that aren't on the car and it doesn't have to be done but you do need a completion date that you think you might have it done although it is flexible as long as you are making progress.

It's not that expensive and well worth the piece of mind for me.

If you are getting an appraisal make sure you get someone who knows classic cars and modifieds or you can get one that will be way off the mark. Get a few referrals before you hand over the cash for any appraisal.

I'm not at that stage of the game, but I know many people who have had good luck with Hagerty.

I too used Grundy. I got $125,000 on the Nova without an appraisal. You get unlimited mileage too, which was a big plus for me. I just sent in my invoices, about 15 pictures, the application I downloaded and the first years premium (less than $800). Now I have unlimited mileage, zero deductable, full agreed replacement value coverage. I certainly have nothing bad to say about Grundy.

I want to get classic car insurance but I don't think I can because I'm only 20 years old, you have to to be at least 25 wtf! Is there any companies that will insure you if your under 25?
