Anyone see the episode of w to r last night. They did a drag car that they named Gangreen. Dont get me wrong i love novas and the color was pretty nice but again,... i saw some hack stuff done
1. I havent done a full resto yet but doesnt it make sense to test fit everything before paint
A. Grinding the leaf springs to make the tire fit.
B. Cutting the 1/4 after paint has been done
C. Putting a jack in the quarter to spread the inner wheel well.
2. I saw a lot of fitting after the fact and i was always taught and found to test 2 x, do it once and then paint.
Also if i am going to an auction and gonna pay what they claim these cars a worth i want to know that it was a quality job and not a throw together. I know i know that they have 4 weeks but 50 k such as the gangreen is a hefty chunk for a so so car. Not saying it is cause tv edits a lot of stuff but.
