      New Seats

I finally made my mind up and got some seats in my car.

They are awsome. I have only driven the car about 5 miles with them but so far I love them. They only took one day to install and thats including time spent cleaning the floor and laying down some dynamat(which is amazing).

All that is left to do before the power tour is to clean the whole car and drive it like hell to make sure everything works like it should.

How were those seats to install? They look nice. What kind of change does it take to get them?

Easy. I had a bench seat before so all i had to do was drill two more holes per seat and that was it. The whole thing caould have only taken one night if I would have not done some other stuuf while the seats were out. I cant remember how much everything cost but talk to Jim at motorsportseats.com for a good deal.

Let us know how your driver seat feels. I am thinking about buying the same seats for my 79 Malibu. Thanks Andy

Well since friday I have put over 1,100 miles on the car and still like it. A little info I'm 5'5 and only 118lbs. I have some extra room which i like cause it still lets air around me to kinda breath so i still have air around me. I have the sliders way fowerd which i probly need to move a little back. Getting in is easy but getting out is a little more difficult, its not bad but you cant just jump in and out real fast.

So would I buy it again? Yes. I love sitting lower to the floor and have a great position in the car. It feels alot more sportier than before. Is this seat ment for long stints in the car? Probly not after awhile I feel a little uncomfortable but I usually get the same way in any car seat.

Hope this helped. If not just ask, I'll do my best to help you out.

I also have corbeau seats in my nova and love them. White79bu, if you order, some of them come in different widths. I weigh about 180 lbs. and wish I would have ordered the wider seat. Just something to think about.

The new seats look great Andrew! How hard were they to secure to the floor?

I had the bench so two holes on each side were perfect and I had to drill two new holes for each seat. On the new holes I used big washers. The whole thing was very simple.
