okay just got a 67 mustang fastback..car sits way to high in front ..my cousin that owned it said he had it lower about 1-1/2 but the tires hit the fenders so he put new springs on..but they are so stiff you cant even push down the front end..here's a pic of the spindle and underside..should i get new springs and skinnier rims..?car also has a tvs steering box deal ..has manual steer ..this a good system?

I was just about to reply to try and help you. We have a 67 mustang also. If you are pushing down on the front end and it is that stiff it could either be the springs or the shocks. Unbolt the shock from the top (2 bolts very easy to access) then push the car up and down. If it still doesnt budge then look into new springs. To get it lower you could also cut the springs a little but that wont make it any softer.
