      A unsolicited testimonial

In today's society, people are fast to bitch about pour service. Not often enough does one give praise for exceptional service, so here at Prodigy Customs we do it every chance we get. I just wish we had more opportunity. We take tremendous pride in making ourselves as obtainable as possible. So we respect the same service.

Every once in a while someone goes above and beyond the call of duty. This happened today, on Sunday, Memorial day weekend. See Michael has been driving the wheels off Prodigy, and drove in to the shop today. Out of the blue, after shuting the car off, the TKO transmission decides to stay stuck in 3rd gear. After trying everything we could think of to disengage it, I posted on a few forums our troubles looking for help. keep in mind this car is going to do some 1200+ miles on Power Tour in a week, so this is a bad time for a breakdown.

So out of the blue, a few hours later, my phone rings. The guys at Classic Chevy 5 Speed heard our cry's for help and called to walk us through curing our problem. Not only did they not have to do this for a customer, on a Sunday, on a holiday weekend, but to top that, we did not even buy the unit from them! When I pointed this out, telling them in all fairness it really was not their problem, they quickly told me they still wanted to help! Now that my friends is service!

I will be contacting them for future transmissions needs, and based on what I saw today, I will feel safe referring all of you and others to them as well.

Jim / Jeff, Thanks a lot. We got her fixed.

Frank I couldn't agree more! Over the past year or so Jeff has been an imense help with my TKO, when he didn't have to (I didn't originally buy from them either). Recently I was in the market for a hydraulic clutch set up and once again Jeff came through with a good price, fast shipping and EXCELLENT customer service. Classic Chevy 5-speed is HIGHLY recommended.

Frank, glad to hear that you got Prodigy's TKO fixed.

That's good to know. I hope to be using a TKO 5 speed from them in the near future.

I've talked with them on the phone before about one of their transmissions. Very helpful and very patient. If I go the manual route, they will definitely get my business.

I hit Jeff with a PM about a clutch recommendation. He responded right away with 2 recommendations. One he sells and one he does not. Not too many vendors will recommend things products they don’t sell when they offer alternatives that will work (akin to a Goodyear dealer telling you to go elsewhere & buy a Michelin.).

Jeff is top notch, I stepped up and ordered a 5 speed kit from him. Jeff is super helpful and answers ALL questions no matter how stupid you may think the question is.

I had a question about running a lighter clutch assembly (thanks to Mr Vizard and PHR) he made a call and set me up with what I was looking for! I have nothing but praise for CC5S.
