      Lost

Anyone else watch this show? I mean really WTF did I just watch. I am so lost with this show. I want to know what the hell is going on so badly though. I don't want to wait either. Argh this is driving me mad! I am on the verge of having to turn away and just wait til the series ends and find out then what everything was about. Of course then I wouldn't be able to see Kate who is so fine. So I guess I will have to stick around. Ok rant off. I am going to bed.

Love this show. It has more twists and turns than any show I have ever seen. Only thing that drives me nuts is when they show re-runs two to three weeks in a row(which I hear is not going to happen next season) and when they seem to drop things that have happened before.

I see more and more trips into the woods but I dont see any more polar bears. I also don't see any more episodes of that so called "island security" invisible black cloud thingy. And what the hell grabbed the pilot out of the plane in season one??? I am hoping they can explain all of these phenomenons in the seasons to come and don't just drop it all together. One side note.. These people must be getting pretty good at building stuff. Cause the scene when Desmond was drinking on the beach at night during what looked to be a chinese restaurant luau!! I thought I was watching filming taking place at the KOWLOON restaurant on rte 1 north shore mass. Definately hooked on this showthough!!!

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

I understand it's just a show, but for me...I need a little reality in my programming for me to get interested.

I have a few questions for you "Lost" followers.

First off....how are these people bathing and brushing their teeth? I would think after being "lost" all this time that everyone on this island has got to be getting pretty ripe by now. Especially the women who have no access to feminine hygiene products. Sorry, I know it's gross...but you have to take this into account. If there were resources left over from their plane or boat or whatever it was that they crashed in, how long could it have lasted? A few weeks? Were they PLANNING to be trapped on an island for 3 years and packed enough supplies for just such an emergency?

2nd....where's the food and water coming from? You can't just eat fish every single day, all that protien will blow your kidney's to pieces. It has to be offset with carbs and fresh water. And where are the sources for complex carbohydrates and fresh water? What edible vegetables and fruit are they finding on this island. Is there just an endless supply on this island? Is it that big? And if it's that big then why isn't it inhabited? Water source? You can't keep drinking from a lake or a stream, Human Beings are not engineered to sustain long exposures to the bacteria that is found in these sources.

Quite frankly...if your'e trapped on a small island for a long duration of time, you're chances of survival are minimal, yet these people seem to be flourishing....always clean, fresh and well fed. I don't get it.

Which is probably why I don't watch the show.

Tony, turn off your brain, let yourself get absorbed by the stupid noisey idiot box and just watch the show, don't analize it, I watch this and the CSI's when I'm not outside working on something

Now the rest of the reality crap.... they can keep it!!!!

Ha, Tony, Tony... you're too much of a reallist!! This IS TV after all, you know. I've been glued to it this season after missing some of last - was kinda turned off when there was this 'monster' in the jungle. Anyway, I can answer a few things that they share with you on the show (you know they never talk about 'bathroom stuff' on TV or movies!):
At first I think they ate leftovers from the plane or fish/fruit from the jungle. Plus there's a freshwater stream/spring on the island. Now that they've found the hatch, there was plenty of food inside, plus a ton of food was dropped from a plane! We don't know the details of that food drop though.
There are 'others' on the island, and it's beginning to look like the whole place is an experiment set up by the Hanso Foundation to study a variety of things... Cool show, the end of this season wasn't as much of a cliffhanger as last with the hatch.

Ha! You should sit in on the bashing I give my wife when she's watching her taped Days of Our Lives soap. I can't believe the stuff they produce on that show! If you think Lost is out of this world.....

She does not like most of my shows either.

Oh God. Soap operas are such crap. Of course is there anything on network TV during the weekday that isn't crap?
