      Odyssey battery

I just bought a new Odyssey battery and billet mounting bracket for my car. I am very happy with the purchase and would like to recomend one for anyone having battery problems. I sometimes will not drive the car for up to 3 weeks and have had a problem with the battery going dead since I do not run a battery tender. Needless to say this damages the battery and after a year it is toast. The Odyssey is a deep cycle battery that can be fully discharged without damaging it and still puts out a lot of current.

They are also supposed to hold a charge for 2 years while sitting on the shelf. I have been looking at them also.

      Odyssey PC680's

I have 2 of the PC680's, will mount them horizontally under the passenger side floorboard towards the rear. They do hold their charge well, still at 12.3v after 15 months of sitting on a shelf.

I had been very happy with mine, although when I picked up my car from the painters the battery was dead and wouldn't hold a charge. Granted, it was sitting without being charged for months at a time. However, I thought the 3 year free replacement warranty was pretty exceptional... now I have a new one!

I had one in my '69.. great battery and mine was very compact in size (still heavy as hell though)..
