Hey Matt interested in getting a tig setup. What machine do you have? I was looking at the miller synchrowave 200 runner. Think thats an okay machine? Thanks Chris

05-15-2006 #2Mr. Chris! Yeah, the Synchros will never go out of style, bullet proof machines and have been for many many years. The bigger the better if you come across any deals though. The 200 is the replacement for the 180SD, which is definetely a hobbiest type machine, but the 250's and 350's are workhourses.
I own a Dynasty 200DX, but those don't really make the best beginner machines...too many buttons to get screwed up on. You could get one and just make yourself not touch any of the settings other than standard stuff until you get comfy with the process though. They are fairly expensive.-Matt
