      LS1 Rear brake problems

When putting my rear brake setup on my 68 Camaro's factory 10-bolt. I ran into a problem with the rotor hitting the out side of the caliper basket (seen in the picture attached). It could be fixed by spacing the backing plate out from the axle flange but is this something people usually run into while doing this swap. By the way you guys talk everything just slides on. Thanks for your help.

      LS1 Rear brake spacing

I did this swap and did have to pull the axles and make approximately a 3/16" spacer for the backing plate. This spaced the basket out enough to get the right clearances for the rotor.

What did you make the spacer out of? I am having this same problem.
