convertible top dyeing

ok not sure if a top is part of the interior but was wondering if anyone ever dyed there top..my top is white in great shape just real stained and i want a black one anyhow..can it be done?..

You can clean it with comet, then something like simple green purple clean if you can tarp the rest of the car with plastic, Then laquer thinner wash it and use SEM spray bombs. It is a bandaid cure, but will work for a while. The trick is keeping it armoralled so it does not stick to itself when it is down. but sooner of later it will crack and peel.

ok ...ill give it a shot ...it is just a idea till i get the car redone then ill get a new one put on..thanks for the help frank..
