4th gen console - ebrake tips

So I'm considering using a 4th Gen console in my 68 and would like to use the console ebrake if I do. Any tips on how to set up the cables/routing below?

      Thanks!

      e-brake

I assume you are going with 4th gen brakes if so I just modified the handle to work on my tranny tunnel by cutting the mounting bracket right in the 90 degree bend and flipping that part around and welding it back together and bolting it to the tunnel then used a hole saw and drilled two holes close together right behind the bracket and the conected the two holes to make one so that the cable gromet would fit perfectly in and then made a bracket to hold the two back cables in place under the car for the conection.

But if you are wanting to blend the two systems together I would recomend getting in touch with control cable http://www.controlcables.com/ in santa fe springs cal. and try to tell them what you are trying to do and they can then build the hybrid cables to suit you.
