      RIP Phil Walden

The founder of Capicorn Records died Monday and will be buried in my hometown tommorrow. Phil put Macon, Ga. on the music map, introducing people like Otis Redding, Allman Brothers and Marshall Tucker to the world.

RIP Phil. I had no idea Capricorn was based down south; gotta love the Allmans! I will see them sometime, they do a bunch of shows in NY in May every year. Just have to convince my wife to take the ride in!
