oil pump please help
anyone ever deal with the gen 6 502 block.. does it take a special oil pump or will any big block pump work? thanks guys

wow is this that difficult that no one here locally or on this site can give me some info.. usually i get all my information real fast here you guys all at sema or what ?? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP....

woah hey now...
give us time to get home from work,take our shoes off and get a cup of coffee why don't you....what was the question? Oh oil pump on a Gen 6 502. I have no idea? I thought they where the same? Get the pick up required for the pan. While you got Summit on the line ask em if the pumps are the same.

ok thanks hope your work day wasnt to tough.. just to say so all those who looked and didnt have an idea yes the 502 uses the same any big block pump will do .. just thought id pass along the information for anyone elses needs thanks guys...

Thanks COPO, I thought they where the same, but wasn't positive. Did the pan come with a pick up?

yes i have the correct pick up for the pan. and thanks for the responses nice to see someone not affraid to put their 2 cents in..
