Distributer gear for solid roller?
Hi team this is my first post. I am running a solid roller in my 68 Camaro 406/richmond 5 speed and am concerned about the apparently short life of the bronze alloy drive gear. I have a comp cams polypropelene gear to try but am wondering if anyone has given these a go. My concern is that by the time I run an oil cooler and a big block oil pump it may load it too much. Running a full Msd and Pensoil 10/50 (oil spec from memory)
It's hard to be sincere with a poor memory

Hey Ronsy-
Welcome to the board. You may want to call Tom Nelson at Nelson Racing Engines. They use roller cams for everything and probably have some good info. Nobody ever answers the phone so just leave a message. 818-998-5593Project "Freebird"
