      Re-using engine fasteners/bolts

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had an opinions on re-using fasteners/bolts from a chevy big-block I took apart and am now putting back together. The things that are new are a cam, lifters, pushrods, and roller rockers. Just wondering if it's ok to re-use the head bolts, main bolts, and other fasteners/bolts. I heard that some bolts can only be torqued once and can't be re-used, any truth to that? Thanks! I also will be installing new main and rod bearings.
