      What QA1 Support Said

QA1 support just told me their coilovers should not be used on cars lowered more than 1". Is that possible? Seems to me a bunch of people are using them with the cars lowered more.

I am putting a BB in my 69 camaro and am lowering the reaend 3" and min tubbing it with the DSE kit. I wanted to use coils overs up front to help nail the stance. But, I have read a lot about springs being too high or too soft so I called QA1 and spoke with Carter. They have some linear springs that will work with their coil overs (350 or 450 lb/in), but then he got into this thing about only lowering the car 1". He said the shock only has 4" of total travel (11.25" compressed length and 15.25" fully extended). So he says if you lower the car 2" the shock will bottom out. Has anybody ever had a problem with this. How does one go about nailing the stance of the car?
