David's brain is pretty big and I'm looking forward to his input.

This system is going to be the last thing you want to be apart of if you're trying to make your car turn. If you thougth that a four link induced bind in roll, just imagine what a 6 link will do. After spending all winter redesigning a rear suspension that was originally developed w/ leafs and traction bars (a la the upper links on the maverick), I'm speaking from experience. That said, it works great for a drag car. Unless he's using it to preload one side, I'd bet that he could get rid of the sway bar. When all six of those links go into tension and compression, that rear end isn't going any where. that's $0.02.

Don, here is a link to a picture of the sliders:

And a link to the only company I have found that sells the Landrum roller bearing sliders for Chevy springs:

I'm interested on how these might work on a street driven car myself.

I thought it was a roller bearing assembly...... I did not think it would be a teflon slider. Do you think DuPont had any idea that Teflon would be used on so much stuff when they formulated it ? ha ha ha ha ha ha

We used these(sliders) on the dirt track for roll steer in the corners (all left hand turns)

A slider won't allow the leaf to twist in roll, so a spherical bearing must be used in the spring eye.

Link Leaf suspension with Caltracks? I don't think I"ve seen that done before. Link Leaf without Caltracks has been done before but not a lot. The Caltracks would increase antisquat for better tire plant with slicks for drag racing.

For best handling I think just a good leaf and shackle setup would be best. Something like the Global West Cat 5 which does have the spherical bearings.
67 Camaro RS that will be faster than anything Mary owns.
