What does everyone think? *Pics of my sled*

      Hello again,

I was curious on what I should do as far as slamming my car to the ground (I will eventually be road racing, as well as limited street driving) I Also plan on running custom 17" or 18" black steel stock car wheels (custom made)
      Heres a pic of it:

And heres a couple photochops of it lowered.

I don't have a good pcture of it, but to soothe the overall boxiness (even though I like it) I installed a 1991 grand marquis nose, and have planned to fabricate a chin spoiler, probably mild fender flares, etc...

Looks great, except I would raise the front just a hair. Little too much rake.

you want it LOWER! To me, in the last pic it doesn't look streetable. The front particullarly, the back might work. Are you driving it like the last pic?

the last two pics are not real.. They are photoshopped.

Yeah, I love stockcar wheels too, I am looking to massage the inner fenders (tub em) and probably run a 17X9 and 17X12 wheels, respectively. When I actually build it, I probably will level it out, and not have a rake. Mostly it will be for corner carving, which even sound ludacrous in a car that almost weighs 3800 lb (I have it on a Diet)

Brakes will be 98-02 crown vic police brakes and suspension (powerslot rotors, hawk pads) and power from a 1970 351C with a tremec 5 speed...

I also plan on smoothing the body out, and going with a GNX style paint job...

Ahhhhh....I'd didn't see the little "These are photoshops" squeezed in there.

I also love the wheels and might even go so far as to try some of the Nascar yellow lettered tires.

Very cool, whenever theres a bank robbery you will get pulled over. It looks like a getaway car, in a good way.

reminds me of my el camino for some reason.. hmmmm....

i dig it, its different, but i would streamline it. ( i know, you didnt ask). take off all the chrome trim, tuck and paint the bumpers, get rid of the vinyl top. tint the windows, you'll be looking good!

      Sick speed, that looks SICK!!!

I like the way it looks there. Future plans call for smooth treatment and blacking out the chrome and bumpers, of course. Again, GNX treatment!

Now, I am having problems finding a place to make a 17" stockcar wheel... I've tried all sorts of places, too!

the big hangup on this project is that I am in the UK for two years, the car is in Pennsylvania, hibernating. At the moment, i'm gathering parts...

Getaway car, I like that! I've also been accused of running moonshine, lol...

Looks good. It needs a pushbar and some sort of "tongue-in-cheek" hood ornament.
